Base Path Series
This may be the most critical lead you face. You're now in scoring position — a solid single will get you home. If there are only one or none out, you might be bunted to 3rd. You also have a direct view of both the pitcher and home plate. And while we don't condone sign stealing, you do have a good view to see if the catcher sets up inside or outside — and which way a likely swing contact might send the baseball.

Unfortunately, it's not all good news. You now have two infielders behind you, either of home could catch you napping, so you need to be aware of both of them, and of audible calls from your 3rd base coach in case either one of them sneaks in.
